Making way for our new , York Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé is set to be demolished over the coming months, the final demolition ahead of West Slope construction beginning this Spring.

Previously used as a student residence and hub for key student services, York Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé played an important role in student life for many years. With our student services now relocated to new locations - our Security Team is now in Bramber Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé, the Print Unit is now in Hastings and the ResLife team in Northfields – and with outdated student accommodation no longer viable, York Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé will be demolished creating much needed space for new student accommodation and new campus amenities, including a purpose-built Health and Wellbeing Centre, larger supermarket and a cafe.

Demolition is scheduled to start towards the end of February and will last several weeks once underway. For all the latest updates of what’s happening and when,
